What is Post-Meal Walk?

Walking for 10-15 minutes after meals to improve blood glucose regulation, aid digestion, and contribute to daily step count. Studies show even brief post-meal walks significantly blunt blood sugar spikes, especially after high-carbohydrate meals.

How do you do Post-Meal Walk?

  1. 1.Walk for 10-15 minutes within 30 minutes of finishing a meal (especially lunch and dinner)
  2. 2.Pace doesn't need to be vigorous — a casual stroll is sufficient for glucose benefits

  4. 4.Make it social: invite a partner, friend, or colleague to join — combines nutrition and social benefits
  5. 5.If walking isn't possible, even standing or light movement (washing dishes, tidying up) helps vs. sitting
