What is Huberman Sleep Stack?

The most widely adopted supplement protocol for sleep from any podcast: Magnesium L-threonate (145mg), L-theanine (200-400mg), and Apigenin (50mg) taken 30-60 minutes before bed.

  1. 1.Take Magnesium L-threonate (145mg or 2g of Magtein) 30-60 min before bed
  2. 2.Take L-theanine (200-400mg) at the same time — promotes relaxation without drowsiness
  3. 3.Take Apigenin (50mg) — a chamomile-derived compound that enhances GABA
  4. 4.Optional: add Glycine (2-3g) for those who wake in the middle of the night
  5. 5.Combine with sleep hygiene: cool room (65-68°F), dark room, no screens 1hr before bed
