What is Non-Zero Day Rule?
A famous Reddit post that went viral: the only rule is that no day can pass where you did ZERO toward your goals. Even if it's just one push-up, one paragraph, one minute of study. Zero is the enemy. One is the hero.
Is there evidence for it?

How do you do Non-Zero Day Rule?
- 1.Pick your 1-3 most important goals/areas. For each, define the absolute MINIMUM action: 1 push-up, 1 page of reading, 1 minute of meditation, 1 line of code
- 2.Before bed, check: did I do at least the minimum for each goal today? If not, do it NOW. Even at 11:59 PM. No zero days
- 3.The magic is psychological: once you start (1 push-up), you almost always do more (10 push-ups). But if you don't do more, that's STILL a win — you maintained the streak
- 4.Track your non-zero days: use a calendar and mark each non-zero day with an X. The chain becomes motivating in itself (Jerry Seinfeld's 'Don't break the chain' method)
- 5.Be kind to yourself on low days. 'One push-up' is not failure — it's a victory over inertia. The future you will thank the current you for not giving up
How long does it take?
1-5 minutes minimum per day.
Is it hard to start?
