What is 10-Minute Declutter Sprint?
Set a timer for 10 minutes and declutter as fast as possible. One drawer, one shelf, one surface. Speed prevents overthinking and perfectionism. Daily 10-minute sprints create more lasting change than occasional 4-hour cleaning marathons.

How do you do 10-Minute Declutter Sprint?
- 1.Set a timer for exactly 10 minutes. Pick ONE small area: a drawer, a shelf, your desk, a section of closet, the bathroom counter
- 2.Sort fast: keep, donate, trash. Don't deliberate more than 5 seconds per item. If you hesitate, it goes in a 'maybe' box (revisit in 30 days — if you didn't need it, donate)
- 3.The 10-minute constraint is the feature: it prevents the overwhelm of 'cleaning the whole house'. One small area. One day at a time
- 4.Do this daily or at least 3x per week. After 30 days, you've done 5+ hours of decluttering without ever feeling overwhelmed
- 5.The ripple effect: a clean space reduces cognitive load. Studies show cluttered environments increase cortisol and decrease focus. Small declutters compound into mental clarity
How long does it take?
10 minutes per day.
Is it hard to start?
easy.
