What is Mastermind Group Protocol (Napoleon Hill Format)?

A structured peer-advisory group format originally described by Napoleon Hill in 1937, where 4-6 committed individuals meet regularly to hold each other accountable, share knowledge, and solve problems together. Hill theorized that when harmonious minds coordinate toward a common purpose, a 'Master Mind' emerges that exceeds any individual's capacity. Modern implementations use a hot-seat rotation format where each member gets dedicated time for their challenges.

How do you do Mastermind Group Protocol (Napoleon Hill Format)?

  1. 1.Recruit 4-6 members with diverse skills but similar ambition levels — avoid more than one person from the same company or niche
  2. 2.Establish ground rules: strict confidentiality, mandatory attendance, and a commitment of at least 6 months
  3. 3.Meet weekly or biweekly for 90 minutes with a rotating 'hot seat' — one member presents their biggest challenge and gets the group's full focus
  4. 4.The hot-seat person emails their topic 24-48 hours before the meeting so members can prepare insights and resources
  5. 5.End each meeting with accountability check-ins: what did you commit to last time, did you follow through, what will you commit to this week?
