How do you do Transcendental Meditation (TM)?
- 1.Learn TM from a certified instructor who assigns your personal mantra (traditionally required)
- 2.Sit comfortably with eyes closed for 20 minutes, twice daily (morning and afternoon)
- 3.Silently repeat your mantra without effort — let it arise naturally in the mind
- 4.When thoughts come, gently return to the mantra without forcing concentration
- 5.Maintain a regular schedule — consistency matters more than session length
