How do you do Cold Exposure Therapy?

  1. 1.Start with 30 seconds of cold water at the end of your regular shower
  2. 2.Increase by 15 seconds each week until you reach 2-3 minutes
  3. 3.Focus on controlled breathing during the cold — slow exhales activate the parasympathetic system
  4. 4.Progress to full cold showers (2-5 minutes) or ice baths (50-60°F/10-15°C for 2-5 minutes)
  5. 5.Practice 3-5 times per week; the mental resilience benefit comes from choosing discomfort voluntarily

How long does it take?

2-5 minutes per session, 3-5 times per week.

Is it hard to start?
