How do you do Ayurvedic Daily Routine (Dinacharya)?

  1. 1.Wake before sunrise and drink a large glass of warm water to cleanse the GI tract and stimulate digestion
  2. 2.Perform tongue scraping with a metal scraper to remove ama (toxins), followed by oil pulling with sesame or coconut oil for 5-10 minutes
  3. 3.Practice abhyanga (warm oil self-massage) using sesame oil for Vata/Kapha types or coconut oil for Pitta types before showering
  4. 4.Eat your largest meal at midday when digestive fire (Agni) is strongest, favoring warm, cooked foods suited to your dosha
  5. 5.Wind down in the evening with a light dinner 2-3 hours before bed, avoid screens, and aim for sleep by 10pm
