Senolytics Lifestyle Protocol

Lifestyle / Supplementation · moderate · Minimal daily; 2 specific 'senolytic days' every 2 weeks; quarterly multi-day fasting

What is Senolytics Lifestyle Protocol?

Senescent ('zombie') cells accumulate with age, secreting inflammatory compounds that damage surrounding tissue. Senolytics are compounds that selectively clear these cells. The clinical protocol (STAMINA study) uses Dasatinib 100mg + Quercetin 1250mg for 2 consecutive days every 2 weeks. A lifestyle approach combines fasting, quercetin-rich foods, exercise, and intermittent senolytic supplementation.

Is there evidence for it?

EVIDENCEmoderate — Dasatinib + Quercetin clinical trials (STAMINA, Alzheimer's pilot) show reduced tau, neuroinflammation, and senescent cell markers; lifestyle senolytics (fasting, exercise) are mechanistically supported but specific protocols lack long-term human data

How do you do Senolytics Lifestyle Protocol?

  1. 1.Quercetin supplementation: take 500-1000 mg quercetin on 2 consecutive days every 2 weeks (intermittent dosing, not daily — mimics clinical protocols)
  2. 2.Eat quercetin-rich foods daily: apples, onions, berries, capers, broccoli, and green tea as baseline dietary senolytics
  3. 3.Perform a 3-5 day fast or fasting-mimicking diet quarterly to activate deep autophagy and senescent cell clearance
  4. 4.Exercise regularly (especially high-intensity) — exercise independently reduces senescent cell burden through immune activation
  5. 5.Add fisetin (100-500 mg on senolytic days) — another natural senolytic compound found in strawberries and apples

How long does it take?

Minimal daily; 2 specific 'senolytic days' every 2 weeks; quarterly multi-day fasting.

Is it hard to start?

moderate.
