What is Digital Declutter (30-Day Reset)?
Cal Newport's Digital Minimalism protocol: remove ALL optional technology for 30 days, then reintroduce only what adds genuine value. Most people discover they need 10% of the apps/services they thought were essential.

How do you do Digital Declutter (30-Day Reset)?
- 1.Define 'optional technology': anything you could live without for 30 days. Social media, news apps, streaming, YouTube, games = optional. Work email, GPS, messaging close people = probably essential
- 2.Remove all optional tech for 30 days: delete apps, log out of websites, block them if needed. Cold turkey, no exceptions
- 3.During the 30 days: rediscover analog activities. You'll have 2-4 extra hours per day. Read, walk, cook, build, talk to people, be bored (boredom is creative fuel)
- 4.After 30 days: reintroduce technologies ONE AT A TIME. For each, ask: 'Does this serve something I deeply value? Is it the BEST way to serve that value?'
- 5.Most people keep: messaging (for real relationships), 1-2 news sources, maps, and maybe 1 streaming service. Everything else was noise
How long does it take?
30-day commitment, saves 2-4 hours/day after.
Is it hard to start?
