How do you do Elimination Diet for Food Sensitivities?

  1. 1.For 3-4 weeks, eliminate: gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, corn, and refined sugar. Eat: vegetables, fruits, clean proteins (chicken, fish, beef), rice, nuts, seeds, olive oil
  2. 2.During elimination: keep a symptom journal. Track energy, digestion, skin, mood, sleep, and joint pain daily (1-10 scale)
  3. 3.After 3-4 weeks: reintroduce ONE food at a time. Eat it 2-3 times on Day 1, then wait 2 more days (72 hours) before adding the next food
  4. 4.Watch for reactions during the 72-hour window: bloating, fatigue, brain fog, skin breakouts, joint aches, mood changes, sinus congestion
  5. 5.If you react to a food: remove it for 3 months, then retry. Some sensitivities are temporary (gut healing can resolve them)
