Micro-Meditation (1-Minute Reset)
meditation · easy · 1 minute, 5-8 times per day
What is Micro-Meditation (1-Minute Reset)?
You don't need 20 minutes. A 1-minute meditation done 5-10 times throughout the day creates more cumulative mindfulness than a single morning session. One conscious breath between meetings, before meals, at red lights — this is how meditation becomes life.

How do you do Micro-Meditation (1-Minute Reset)?
- 1.Set 5-8 random alarms throughout your day (or use transition moments: before eating, entering a room, opening laptop, starting car)
- 2.When triggered: stop everything. Take 3 slow, conscious breaths. On each inhale, notice the sensation of air entering your nostrils. On each exhale, let your shoulders drop
- 3.That's it. 30-60 seconds. Return to what you were doing. The cumulative effect of 5-8 of these per day is significant
- 4.Variation: at each trigger, do a quick body scan (5 seconds). Where am I tense? Jaw? Shoulders? Belly? Consciously release it
- 5.Advanced: between every activity transition, take ONE conscious breath. Between email and meeting: one breath. Between meeting and lunch: one breath. This creates gaps of awareness in your autopilot day
How long does it take?
1 minute, 5-8 times per day.
Is it hard to start?
easy.
