How do you do Kegel Exercises (Pelvic Floor Training)?
- 1.Find the right muscles: next time you urinate, try to stop mid-stream. Those muscles you just clenched are your pelvic floor
- 2.Basic kegel: squeeze those muscles and hold for 5 seconds, then relax for 5 seconds. Do 10 reps. That's one set
- 3.Do 3 sets per day — morning, afternoon, evening. You can do them anywhere: sitting at your desk, driving, watching TV, waiting in line
- 4.Progress: increase hold time from 5 to 10 seconds over weeks. Then try 'quick flicks' — rapid contract-and-release for 10 reps (builds fast-twitch fibers)
- 5.For men: kegels improve erectile function and ejaculation control. For women: reduces incontinence and improves orgasm intensity. For everyone: better core stability and posture
How long does it take?
5 minutes per day (3 sets of 10).
Is it hard to start?
