How do you do Morning Cold Shower Protocol?
- 1.End your regular warm shower with 30 seconds of the coldest water setting for the first week
- 2.Extend by 15 seconds each week until you reach 2-3 minutes of cold water
- 3.Focus on controlled breathing: resist gasping, breathe slowly and deliberately through the discomfort
- 4.Target the back of the neck and upper back area (high density of cold receptors)
- 5.Do NOT gradually lower the temperature — turn it to cold directly (the shock response is part of the benefit)
How long does it take?
3-5 min/day.
Is it hard to start?
medium.
