How do you do Speed Reading (SQ3R Method)?

  1. 1.Survey: skim the chapter in 2-3 minutes — headings, bold text, diagrams, summary, first/last paragraphs
  2. 2.Question: convert each heading into a question ('Types of Memory' → 'What are the types of memory?')
  3. 3.Read: read each section actively, looking for answers to your questions
  4. 4.Recite: after each section, close the book and recall the key points in your own words
  5. 5.Review: after finishing, go back through your notes and questions to consolidate understanding
