What is Wheel of Life Assessment?

A visual self-assessment coaching tool that maps satisfaction across 8-10 life areas on a circular diagram, revealing imbalances and interdependencies. The resulting 'wheel shape' shows whether your life rolls smoothly or wobbles from neglected areas.

How do you do Wheel of Life Assessment?

  1. 1.Define your 8-10 life categories (standard: Career, Finance, Health, Family, Relationships, Personal Growth, Fun/Recreation, Physical Environment, Contribution, Spirituality)
  2. 2.Rate each area 1-10 on current satisfaction — be honest, not aspirational. Mark each score on the corresponding spoke of the wheel and connect the dots.
  3. 3.Identify your 'flat tires': any area scoring 4 or below that creates drag on the rest of your life. Note which low areas are affecting high-scoring areas.
  4. 4.Choose 2-3 focus areas and define one specific, measurable action for each that you'll take this week to raise the score by even 1 point
  5. 5.Repeat the assessment monthly to track trends over time — the goal isn't perfect 10s everywhere but a reasonably round wheel that lets you move forward smoothly

How long does it take?

20-30 minutes monthly.

Is it hard to start?

easy.
