What is Red Light Therapy Panel Protocol?

Use LED panels emitting 660nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared) wavelengths to boost mitochondrial ATP production via cytochrome c oxidase activation. Red penetrates 2-5mm for skin/collagen, NIR penetrates 20-40mm for deep muscle and joint recovery.

Is there evidence for it?

How do you do Red Light Therapy Panel Protocol?

  1. 1.Position panel 6-12 inches from target area for 10-15 minutes per zone
  2. 2.Use 660nm for skin, wound healing, and collagen (4-6 weeks for results)
  3. 3.Use 850nm for deep tissue, muscle recovery, and joint pain (days to weeks for relief)
  4. 4.Stay in the 8-15 J/cm2 dosage window — exceeding 20 J/cm2 causes oxidative stress
  5. 5.Use BEFORE exercise for ATP/performance boost, AFTER exercise for recovery — 3-7 sessions per week

How long does it take?

10-20 minutes per session, 3-7x weekly.

Is it hard to start?

medium.
