Earthing/Grounding Practice

What is Earthing/Grounding Practice?
Walk barefoot on natural ground (grass, sand, soil) for 20-30 minutes. Direct contact with the earth's surface transfers electrons that reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and lower cortisol. Controversial but growing evidence.
Is there evidence for it?
EVIDENCEemerging
How do you do Earthing/Grounding Practice?
- 1.Find a clean natural surface: grass in a park, beach sand, garden soil. Remove shoes and socks and stand/walk for 20-30 minutes
- 2.Best times: morning (combine with sunlight protocol) or evening (helps wind down for sleep)
- 3.If barefoot outside isn't accessible: touch a tree, garden with bare hands, or use a grounding mat/sheet indoors (these connect to the ground pin of your electrical outlet)
- 4.Notice sensations: temperature of the earth, texture underfoot, any tingling or warmth. Many people report a calming effect within 10 minutes
- 5.Combine with other practices: barefoot morning walk with sun exposure and deep breathing = triple stack for circadian health, grounding, and nervous system regulation
How long does it take?
20-30 minutes per session.
Is it hard to start?
easy.
