What is Mediterranean Diet Adoption?
The most studied diet in history and consistently ranked #1 by dietitians. Not really a 'diet' — it's an eating pattern: olive oil, vegetables, fish, nuts, legumes, whole grains, moderate wine. Reduces heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and cognitive decline.

How do you do Mediterranean Diet Adoption?
- 1.Make olive oil your primary fat: cook with it, drizzle on everything, use it instead of butter. Extra virgin, cold-pressed, buy the best you can afford
- 2.Eat 5-9 servings of vegetables and fruits daily. Fill half your plate with vegetables at every meal
- 3.Fish 2-3x per week (especially fatty fish: salmon, sardines, mackerel). Poultry 1-2x per week. Red meat 1-2x per month
- 4.Daily: nuts (a handful), legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas), whole grains. These are your staple protein and fiber sources
- 5.Minimize: processed food, refined sugar, seed oils, red meat, and ultra-processed anything. You don't have to be perfect — aim for 80% Mediterranean, 20% whatever
