How do you do Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?

  1. 1.Enroll in an MBSR course (8 weekly 2.5-hour group sessions + 1 full-day retreat) — available in-person and online
  2. 2.Practice 45 minutes of formal meditation daily (body scan, sitting meditation, mindful yoga, rotating weekly)
  3. 3.Complete informal practices: mindful eating, walking meditation, bringing awareness to routine activities
  4. 4.Attend the all-day silent retreat between weeks 6-7 for deepened practice
  5. 5.After the course, maintain a daily 20-40 minute practice using the techniques you found most effective
