How do you do Accountability Partner / Buddy System?
- 1.Find a partner with similar goals or complementary accountability needs — friend, colleague, or online match
- 2.Set a fixed weekly check-in: same day, same time, 15-20 minutes (phone, video, or in-person)
- 3.Each person shares: what they committed to, what they actually did, what blocked them, and what they commit to next week
- 4.Make commitments specific and measurable: 'I will run 3 times this week' not 'I'll exercise more'
- 5.Agree on consequences for missed commitments (optional but effective): donate to a cause, extra task, etc.
