Cold Shower Morning Protocol
biohacking · medium · 30-90 seconds added to existing shower
What is Cold Shower Morning Protocol?
End every morning shower with 30-90 seconds of the coldest water you can tolerate. Increases norepinephrine 200-300% (more than any supplement), builds mental toughness, and trains your nervous system to handle discomfort. The cheapest biohack that exists.

How do you do Cold Shower Morning Protocol?
- 1.Finish your normal warm shower routine, then turn the dial to the coldest setting
- 2.Start with 15-30 seconds. Focus on slow, controlled exhales — don't gasp. In through nose, out through mouth
- 3.Increase by 15 seconds per week until you reach 1-2 minutes. Let the cold water hit your chest, back, and the back of your neck (where brown fat is concentrated)
- 4.The norepinephrine spike lasts 2-3 hours — this is why cold showers are better in the morning than evening
- 5.If 30 seconds feels impossible: start by just turning the dial to cold for the last 5 seconds. Build from there. Everyone starts somewhere
How long does it take?
30-90 seconds added to existing shower.
Is it hard to start?
medium.
