The 30-Day Elimination Diet

nutrition · hard · 30 days of modified eating + 2-3 weeks of reintroduction

What is The 30-Day Elimination Diet?

Remove the 6 most common inflammatory foods for 30 days: gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs, and sugar. Then reintroduce one at a time every 3 days, watching for reactions. This is the gold standard for discovering YOUR personal food sensitivities — which affect energy, skin, mood, digestion, and inflammation.

Is there evidence for it?

How do you do The 30-Day Elimination Diet?

  1. 1.For 30 days, eliminate: gluten (wheat, barley, rye), dairy (all milk products), soy, corn, eggs, and added sugar. Eat: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, rice, nuts, seeds, olive oil
  2. 2.Days 1-7: withdrawal symptoms are normal — headaches, fatigue, cravings. This is your body detoxing. Push through. By day 10, most people feel significantly better
  3. 3.Days 14-30: notice changes in energy, skin clarity, digestion, mood, joint pain, sleep quality, mental clarity. Keep a daily journal of symptoms and energy levels
  4. 4.Day 31+: reintroduce ONE food group every 3 days. Day 31: eat eggs for breakfast and lunch. Days 32-33: watch for symptoms (bloating, brain fog, skin breakout, fatigue, joint pain). Day 34: try dairy. And so on
  5. 5.The foods that cause reactions are YOUR personal inflammatory triggers. Some people react to dairy but not gluten. Others the opposite. This 30-day experiment gives you data that no blood test can match

How long does it take?

30 days of modified eating + 2-3 weeks of reintroduction.

Is it hard to start?
