How do you do Artist Dates?
- 1.Schedule a 2-hour block each week that is SOLO — no friends, no partner, no phone calls
- 2.Choose activities that spark curiosity: visit a museum, explore a new neighborhood, browse a bookstore, attend a concert, visit a botanical garden
- 3.The activity does not need to relate to your creative work — in fact, the more surprising the better
- 4.Do NOT combine with errands or practical tasks — this is pure exploration and play
- 5.Afterward, notice if any new ideas, energy, or inspiration emerged in the following days
How long does it take?
2 hours per week.
Is it hard to start?
easy.
