How do you do Morning Pages (Julia Cameron)?

  1. 1.Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier. Keep a notebook and pen on your nightstand
  2. 2.As soon as you wake (before coffee, before phone), write 3 pages of anything. Complaints, dreams, grocery lists, gibberish — all valid
  3. 3.Rules: handwrite (not type), don't re-read what you wrote, don't show anyone, and never stop until 3 pages are done
  4. 4.If you get stuck, write 'I don't know what to write' until something comes. It always does
  5. 5.Do this every single day for 12 weeks. The first 2 weeks feel forced. By week 4, you'll notice creative ideas appearing that never would have surfaced otherwise

How long does it take?

25-35 minutes each morning.

Is it hard to start?

easy.
