What is Accountability Partner?

Pairing with another person who shares similar goals and committing to regular check-ins where you report progress. Social accountability dramatically increases follow-through compared to solo commitment.

How do you do Accountability Partner?

  1. 1.Find a partner with compatible (not necessarily identical) goals and similar commitment level
  2. 2.Set a regular check-in schedule: daily text, weekly call, or bi-weekly meeting
  3. 3.Share specific, measurable commitments for each period ('I will run 3 times this week' not 'I'll exercise more')
  4. 4.Report honestly — the value is in the commitment to another person, not in looking good
  5. 5.Celebrate wins together and troubleshoot misses without judgment — support, not shame

How long does it take?

15-30 minutes per week for check-ins.

Is it hard to start?

easy.
