How do you do Growth Mindset Micro-Interventions?

  1. 1.Complete a 'brain-is-a-muscle' writing exercise: spend 10 minutes writing about how abilities develop through effort, using neuroscience evidence about neuroplasticity
  2. 2.Replace 'I can't do this' with 'I can't do this yet' — practice the 'power of yet' reframe 3 times daily when hitting obstacles
  3. 3.Write a letter to a struggling friend explaining how intelligence grows through challenge — this self-persuasion technique consolidates the belief
  4. 4.After each failure or setback, journal: What did I learn? What strategy could I try differently? What effort did I put in that I can build on?
  5. 5.Praise your own process weekly: identify specific strategies, effort, and persistence you used rather than attributing outcomes to fixed talent

How long does it take?

5-10 minutes daily.

Is it hard to start?

easy.
