What is Brain Dump + Priority Matrix?

Start each day by dumping every thought, task, and worry onto paper for 5-10 minutes. Then sort into a 2x2 matrix: urgent/important, important/not urgent, urgent/not important, neither. Clears mental RAM and gives you a clear action list.

  1. 1.Set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write down EVERYTHING on your mind — tasks, worries, ideas, random thoughts
  2. 2.Don't organize while writing — just dump. Speed matters more than neatness
  3. 3.After the dump, draw a 2x2 grid: Urgent+Important (do first), Important+Not Urgent (schedule), Urgent+Not Important (delegate), Neither (delete)
  4. 4.Pick your top 3 items from the Important quadrants — those are your day
  5. 5.Do this BEFORE opening email or social media — protect your fresh morning brain
