What is Morning Pages (Artist's Way)?
Every morning, immediately after waking, write 3 pages longhand (about 750 words) of stream-of-consciousness. Whatever comes to mind — no editing, no censoring, no stopping. This clears mental clutter, surfaces suppressed thoughts, and unblocks creativity. Used by millions since 1992.

How do you do Morning Pages (Artist's Way)?
- 1.Keep a notebook and pen on your nightstand. Before coffee, before phone, before anything: sit up and write 3 pages of whatever comes to mind
- 2.There are NO rules about content. Write about your dreams, your worries, your grocery list, how annoying this exercise is, what you want to build, who made you angry. ANYTHING
- 3.Don't stop, don't edit, don't reread. If you run out of things to say, write 'I don't know what to write' until the next thought comes. It always comes
- 4.These pages are not meant to be good writing. They're not for anyone to read (including you). They're a daily brain dump — clearing the mental cache so your creative mind has room to operate
- 5.Do this for 30 consecutive days before judging the practice. Week 1 feels forced. Week 2 gets interesting. Week 3 is where breakthroughs happen — suppressed ideas, solutions to old problems, creative inspiration
How long does it take?
20-30 minutes each morning.
Is it hard to start?
medium.
