How do you do Love Languages Practice?
- 1.Both partners take the free Love Languages quiz at 5lovelanguages.com to identify your primary and secondary languages
- 2.For one week, consciously express love in your partner's primary language daily: write a note (words), plan undivided-attention time (quality time), do a chore they dislike (acts), give a small thoughtful gift (gifts), or increase physical affection (touch)
- 3.Establish a daily sharing ritual: sit together for 10 minutes and each share 3 things that happened today and how you felt about them
- 4.Track your efforts in a simple journal for 30 days to build the habit of 'speaking' in their language rather than defaulting to your own
- 5.Revisit the quiz every 6-12 months as love languages can shift with life stages
How long does it take?
15-30 min/day.
Is it hard to start?
easy.
